As we were behind our schedule, we debated skipping the drive over the Golden Gate Bridge but Ethan and Liam had their hearts set on it. Of course, we hit some serious traffic jams north of San Fransisco, CA which wasted even more of our time. We decided to stay the night at a Walmart in Red Bluff, CA, about an hour away from Lassen Volcanic National Park, CA, our intended destination that night.
