White Sands Missile Range Museum, NM

June 29

We continued to White Sands Missile Range Museum, NM 50 minutes and 40 miles away. Despite what their website said, the museum was closed but the outdoor exhibit is always open. On display are a variety of rockets and missiles. There was a model of the Fat Man, the atomic bomb dropped on Nagasaki, Japan during WWII. There was also a Patriot missile and launcher, a missile William became intimately familiar with during his military career.

Despite the warning sign about rattlesnakes, we unfortunately didn’t see any.

Here are the pictures.
